END OF TERM UPDATE (THIRD TERM 2017)

The 2016/2017 session has come to a successful end. We give God all the glory for His abundant mercies, support and love towards every member of the school community.

 We also wish to express our profound gratitude to all who attended the Graduation/Matriculation, End of session and Prize Giving ceremony on Thursday 27th July, 2017. Your presence was well appreciated. I commend the pupils for their excellent presentations. They surpassed our expectations.

EXAMINATION/ENTRANCE EXAMINATION: All examinations were concluded without a hitch. There was tremendous improvement in the academic performance of pupils across the classes. Primary five pupils performed excellently in their entrance examination to secondary schools, we wish them success in their various secondary schools.

HOLIDAY COACHING: An enriching holiday coaching is organized for our pupils and the holiday makers in your family or environment. The subjects to concentrate on,areMathematics, Quantitative, English Language, Verbal Reasoning, Science and Social Studies using the scheme of work for the new term.

DATE:  Monday 7th August, 2017 to Thursday 7th September 2017.

DAYS:    Monday to Thursday

TIME:   9:00am to 1:00pm

FEE:      N7,000 (Seven thousand naira only)

Please take note that;

  • Hostel facility is available for interested pupils at affordable price

  • School buses will not run during the period

  • Pupils are expected to come with their exercise books and writing materials

CHILDCARE/MONITORING:This is to remind you that children must not be left alone or entrusted into the hand of stranger for security purpose.The television or DSTV programmes should also be properly controlled and monitored to safeguard them from negative influence.

 

 

SCHOOL FEES:The prompt payment of school fees allow for smooth running of the school; therefore ensure that all fees are fully paid before resumption. Note that no child will be allowed into the school without evidence of complete payment of outstanding fees and by the second (2nd) week of resumption, children will not be allowed into the school without evidence of complete payment of first (1st) term fee.

TEXTBOOK: It was observed during the review of text books for the new session by the school that the costs are on the high side. As a result of this, there are two prices in the bill for two categories of list of books. Kindly check the list of books for the two categories before payment.

RESULT: The result portal has been changed from Edalaf to The Bells website. Hence, the pupil’s result, scheme of work, for each subject calendar of events, project/holiday assignment etc will be accessed via www.thebellsschools.org. Your pin which has been changed to pass word is still valid.

RED CROSS CAMPING PROGRAMME: This year camping programme is slated for 13thto 20th August, 2017 at Iganmode Secondary School Oju-ore Ota.The registration fee is N5,000.All our pupils are invited.
