Hostel Life at The Bells Creche, Nursery and Primary School.

Boarding: Living on the Campus
In recent years we have seen a pleasing increase in the number of boarders living with us during term time.

Why does this option work so well for parents and pupils?
Our House Staff and our accommodation facilities ensure a caring, loving, friendly and homely atmosphere.

Boys and Girls Boarding with us do Well!

Boys and Girls living with us do very well. They often outperform day students in both classroom and on the sports field. They do not have to spend hours each day travelling back and forth, adequate home work and everything they could want is close at hand.

Perhaps the reason why there is hardly ever any sickness is because they are surrounded by their friends and a friendly staff.

Friends mean fun, activity and things to do. No time to get bored. All our staff have a great deal of experience and common sense.

They provide the warm and supportive atmosphere which has meant each year, more boys and girls have chosen to live on campus.

Discipline: Sanctions and Rewards
Someone being silly or inconsiderate, is quickly corrected, with lots of common sense applied.

The watch word here is: ‘Firm, but Fair’.

Creche:

We take babies from 6 weeks old. At the age of two, they move to the next level in the Kindergarten. This is where they learn Pre-Reading and Pre-Number skills.

Pay us a visit and view our haven for babies.

What makes our Creche/Kindergarten so different?

  • Care at The Bells means looking after the needs of every individual child in our care.
  • Care at The Bells means that all our staff are rigorously selected and trained to the highest standards.
  • Care at The Bells means that every child is stimulated and the basis of education skills is laid at an early age.
  • Above all, care at The Bells means real care for each child in a loving and warm atmosphere.

The Bells philosophy is built on a culture of care.

International Students:

Our boarding is thought by many to be the very best and of the highest quality in the whole of Ogun State, Nigeria.

We cater for children from abroad. Some of our pupils travel from U.S.A, Italy, Dubai, Yugoslavia, Ireland and United Kingdom.

So I want you to believe us when we say we know what we are doing. There is a strong sense of family spirit and much of it finds focal point in the Common Rooms, week-end get-together and during Prep-Time.

School Library:

The school Library holds more than 3000 volumes and act as a learning hub for children from Kindergarten One to Primary Six.

Students have daily, open access to the library as well as scheduled class time each week. During library visits, students are exposed to different types of literature as well as important information.

In our library we seek to:

  • Foster a love of reading that renders a positive attitude toward lifelong learning.
  • Offer access to material and information resources.
  • Select, organize and maintain quality library collections.
  • Teach efficient information, literacy skills including critical evaluation and effective use of resources.
  • Provide more use of Information Technology
  • Promote diversity and freedom of inquiry and expression.

We MAKE A DIFFERENCE at The Bells our students achieve the following characteristics:
